Will servicing at Principe void my BMW warranty?
No. The federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to service elsewhere. BMW cannot void your warranty because you chose an independent shop. What matters is the work is done to spec with OEM-grade parts — and documented. We document every job and keep the records for you.
Can you really handle my BMW — better than the dealer?
Yes — and it's what we do all day. We run the same factory software (ISTA, ESYS) the McKinney BMW dealer runs, follow the same TIS/WIS procedures, and our lead tech has been dedicated to European platforms for 5+ years. Difference? You talk to the tech, not a service advisor three desks away. And we charge $175/hr vs their $230–$290/hr.

Do you use OEM parts on BMWs?
OEM is our default for everything critical — emissions, drivetrain, cooling, safety. For non-critical items with proven OE-spec alternatives (certain gaskets, filters, etc.) we'll flag the option and let you decide. No cheap aftermarket on anything that matters.
How much does a BMW diagnosis cost?
A scan + 49-point inspection is FREE. If your BMW needs a level-two diagnosis (pin-testing, scope work, tear-down) we quote the diagnostic time up front. Typical: 1–2 hours at $175/hr. Same-day slots open for CEL diagnosis; major repairs usually scheduled within a week.

Can you handle coding and programming?
Yes. Factory ESYS and ISTA for coding. Module replacement with VO coding, retrofit activation, FRM programming, DME/EGS cloning, ISN work — all done in-house. If you've been told “only the dealer can do this” — call us first.
